To satisfy those who still crave for Michael Jordan's opinion on the rather unfair "Kobe vs. LeBron" comparison...
There you have it. The GOAT himself has answered.

"We ain't coming back to LA!" -Paul Pierce
Paul Pierce yelled to LA Fans,
Last time I checked, he shot 2-11 FGs. He was never really a factor in that game 2 win.
His words could mean two things, right?
Either they sweep the Lakers at Boston. Or, they'll get swept by the defending champs in Boston.
PP's predictions always fail so, go figure.
Let's go Lakers! :)

Capiz - The Aswang Capital No More
I've only known Capiz for its "aswangs"...
...until I discovered that the province has something else to be known for having. The biggest church bell in Asia is found here and it's called Pan-ay Bell.
Below is the Sta. Monica Church in Pan-ay, Capiz where the largest bell in Asia is kept.
PS... Based on my experience, Capiz is an aswang-free province. :D

I Just Made My Vote Count
Even though it took me almost 3 hours to finally cast my vote, it's worth the long wait.
This was the first time I voted for a president. It was also my first time to see a PCOS machine (HAHAHA). I am really for the automated counting of votes because I witnessed how SLOW and TIRING it was for the teachers to count the votes manually. We're in a high-tech world now, come on! This is long overdue! (Next up, automated voting!)
The voting itself can be done in just a couple of minutes. The verification of voters and the limited PCOS machines are the reasons why it took us long to finish the process. Hopefully, next time the process gets better and more organized.

Camayan Beach Resort in Subic
Our company had an outing in Camayan Beach resort. The place is huge and is good for fun-filled activities for company outings like ours.
We had an "amazing race" and the place is very appropriate for this kind of activity.
They set up three long tables just before the shore where we had our dinner. There was also a stage set for the performers to sing and dance.
The rooms and amenities were great and the resort staff were very accommodating.
The best thing about my stay there? I had to go home earlier so I can't wait for our scheduled departure and company bus ride. When we asked the front desk on how to go to the bus terminal, they offered us a free ride to the terminal. Cool eh?
Some of the pictures I took when I roamed around the place:

For everyone's info, Camayan Beach resort is located at:
Camayan Wharf, West Ilanin Forest Area
Subic Bay Freeport Zone 2222, Philippines.
Telephone Number: (047) 252-8000

Dupinga River, Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija
It was the first time I soaked my body into a river water. You know, I live in Markina somehow near the river and I never wanted to swim in it. Last holy week, my family went to a famous river in Nueva Ecija called Dupinga.
Dupinga River is located at Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija. The water is coming straight from Sierra Madre mountains so it is already very refreshing just to stay there. The water is crystal clear and ICE COLD. The place is really for bathing especially during the summer.

There are also cottages to rent during your stay there. There are sari-sari stores and restrooms as well. But, I don't think you'll be using the restroom anyway. They stink, big time.
Dupinga is a simple bathing place for all those who want to swim in an ice cold crystal clear water.
Kobe's Game-winners 2009-2010
Since the playoffs will be starting in just a while, I have to reminisce on some of Kobe's game-winning shots this season. The guy hit 6 game-winners this season alone! Can you imagine that? Six game-winners in just one season.
1 - Dec 5, 2009 - Lakers 108 - Heat 107
Kobe Bryant banked in a 3-pointer over Dwyane Wade's defense at the buzzer, ending the superstars' sensational duel and sending the Los Angeles Lakers to their eighth straight victory, 108-107 over the Miami Heat.
2 - Dec 16, 2009 - Lakers 107 - Bucks 106
Kobe Bryant reverted to an old habit when he missed a potential game-winning shot. Given a second opportunity in OT, Bryant took the same shot and hit it.
Bryant hit a 15-footer as time expired and scored the game's final seven points over the last 1:18 of overtime to lift the Los Angeles Lakers to a 107-106 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
3 - Jan 1, 2010 - Lakers 109 - Kings 108
Kobe Bryant hit yet another buzzer-beating 3-pointer and finished with 39 points as the defending NBA champions overcame a 20-point deficit to beat the Sacramento Kings 109-108.
4 - Jan 31, 2010 - Lakers 90 - Celtics 89
Kobe Bryant sank the go-ahead basket with 7.3 seconds left, and the Lakers won 90-89 on Sunday for their third consecutive victory over the struggling Celtics.
5 - Feb 23, 2010 - Lakers 99 - Grizzlies 98
Bryant made a 3-pointer with 4.3 seconds left to lift the Los Angeles Lakers to 99-98 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Bryant led the Lakers with 32 points, including his team's final nine points. His 3-pointer with 54 seconds left tied the game at 96-all. His game-winner came off an inbounds play 4 seconds after his layup attempt was blocked by Rudy Gay.
6 - Mar 9, 2010 - Lakers 109 - Raptors 107
Kobe Bryant hit a 17-foot fallaway jumper with 1.9 seconds left to snap their three-game losing streak with a 109-107 victory.
Even 76% of 190 NBA players surveyed by Sports Illustrated agree that Kobe Bryant is the best person to give the ball during the dying seconds.
Will the Lakers be needing his clutch performances vs the Oklahoma City Thunder?
Here are some of Kobe's game-winners this season:

Potipot Island Getaway
I just got back last night from a trip to the isolated Potipot Island in Zambales. We stayed at Isla Vista Beach Resort and then went across the sea by banca to the famous Potipot. In just 5 minutes, we got to the island.

[/caption]Indeed, it has white sand and the water is crystal clear. You can explore the whole island in just 10 minutes, I guess.

You can set up tents and umbrellas if you don't want to rent cottages. The entrance fee in Potipot Island is 100 pesos and 200 pesos for an overnight stay. The banca ride (roundtrip) costs 400 pesos for 4 persons.
Here are some other Potipot Island photos:

Kabayan Beach Resort
My family and I went on a Batangas outing in Kabayan Beach Resort. For it's price, beach and accommodation, I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars.
Here are some info about the resort:
For more info, just visit their website: http://www.kabayanresort.com.ph/
Here are some info about the resort:
- We called them the day before the outing and made a reservation with no down payment.
- The resort is at Laiya, San Juan, Batangas
- It took us 3 hours to get there.
- The resort has both pool and beach (You still have to pay 100/head to be able to use the pool)
- The beach is no "white sand" but the sand is close to being one. It is fine and not rocky.

- The cottage costs PHP1000 good for 15pax
- You can't cook using stove but you can do "ihaw-ihaw" and bring packed food
- They have beach volleyball, bangka rides, billiards, videoke, playground for kids, massage etc.
For more info, just visit their website: http://www.kabayanresort.com.ph/
